The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed with regard to the higher range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The service position created for intervention experiences a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, click here SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all consumers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
